Guided city tour June 13

Note changes in walking tour, most important starting point!

The tour starts in the city center at Grönsakstorget. We leave from there at 5.30, walking tour takes two hours.

Anne will guide us through the city with some foodstops for small treats.

We will visit the Fishchurch "Fiskekörkan" built in 1874. You will enjoy an inside visit of the fish market and a small sandwich treat.

We will also walk through Haga, the old town of Gothenburg. At "Husaren" (one of the cafes in Haga) they make the famous international cinnamon bun. It is famous because it is so big and very good. You will take a peak inside the cafe and enjoy the smell of freshly baked buns as well as having a taste of one.

The walk will also take us to Saluhallen, our indoor food market built 1889. You will go inside and visit the privately owned little stores selling everything from international delicacies to local meats and cheeses.

Gustav Adolfs square will also be visited, this is our Political center where the statue of Gustav Adolf, our founding father, is located.

Also visiting Kronhusbodarna, that is located next to one of Gothenburgs oldest buildings from the mid 1600.

The tour ends at the restaurant The Barn at 7.30, where dinner will be served.

This tour costs 335 SEK, which includes all food and soft drinks. Registration for this guieded tour is done at the same time as registration for the conference.
